"On the 12th Anniversary of the Republican Guard Massacre: Crimes Do Not Expire with Time"

🔴 On the 12th anniversary of the Republican Guard massacre... crimes do not expire with time

On the morning of July 8, 2013, while the protesters were performing the Fajr prayer in front of the Republican Guard headquarters, the Egyptian army opened fire on the peaceful demonstrators, resulting in the martyrdom of 76 citizens and hundreds of injuries, in a massacre known as the "Massacre of the Prostrators."

🕯️ The crime occurred in front of the cameras, and among the victims was a photographer who documented the last moments before his martyrdom; nevertheless, no one has been held accountable to this day.

📌 On this anniversary, Al-Shehab Center for Human Rights renews its call for a fair and independent international investigation and accountability for all those involved in the massacre, affirming that justice does not expire with time.
