🔴 The Egyptian regime has not stopped crushing women for political reasons since 2013


- 2000 women and girls are currently detained in political cases.

- 44 is the number of forcibly disappeared women who appeared before the State Security Prosecution alone in 2024.


- Referral of 25 women to unjust military trials - over a decade - and receiving sentences ranging from life imprisonment to severe penalties.

- Listing 151 women on terrorism lists and confiscating their funds.

- Imprisonment and detention of 14 journalists.

- Expulsion of 500 university students.

- Al-Azhar University alone expelled 176 female students between 2013 and 2015.


- Imprisonment of 2800 women under civil and military sentences that lack fair trial standards.


- Killing dozens of girls and women during the dispersal of opposition protests.


📌 Other violations:

- Harassment and intimidation.

- Rotation.

- Torture, electrocution, beating, and dragging.

- Rape.

- Inclusion on travel bans and watch lists.

- Obstinacy in issuing and renewing passports and identification documents.
