🔴 A humanitarian appeal from the mother of the forcibly disappeared student Abdel Rahman Mohsen
The mother of the student Abdel Rahman Mohsen Sayyed Abbas Al-Zuhairi has addressed an emotional humanitarian message to all officials in Egypt, urging them to intervene to reveal the fate of her son and secure his release.
🔻 The mother's message:
"I am the mother of Abdel Rahman… my only son among daughters, he was taken on August 29, 2019, when he was 17 years old, and he was in the second year of secondary school. Since then, no one has told us where he is, we haven't seen him, nor have they even allowed us a single visit.
It has been six years and four months that I have been deprived of him… my heart is tired, and I have undergone two surgeries since they took him. I long to reassure myself about him, to hold him in my arms, to see his future ahead of me… he is now close to turning 24 years old, and his entire life is being stolen before my eyes, and I am unable to do anything for him.
All I ask for is mercy… for my son to be released to live his life, to learn, to support his sisters, and to be a good son for his country. O Lord, may my message reach and soften the hearts of all officials who can change my son's fate."
🔻 Al-Shehab Center expresses its full solidarity with the appeal of Abdel Rahman's mother and demands the immediate disclosure of his whereabouts, enabling him to communicate with his family, and his urgent release.
