Death of Citizen "Mohamed Elsayed Elmorsi" during his forced disappearance

Citizen Mohamed Elsayed Elmorsi, a 52-year-old Arabic language teacher from Damietta Governorate, passed away and was buried on March 5, 2023, after being forcibly disappeared since February 21 at the State Security headquarters in Damietta.
The family was shocked when they were asked to attend and receive his body, which was presented to them in a wooden box after being washed by the security personnel. This restricted viewing of the dead body confirms that he was subjected to severe torture lead to his death.
El-Shehab for Human Rights calls for an investigation into this incident and holding those involved accountable, and the Ministry of Interior and National Security responsible. It affirms that extrajudicial killings are crimes against humanity and have no statute of limitations.
