*Badr 3.. The Graveyard of Dissenters in Egypt*

In light of the policy of impunity and the transformation of Egyptian prisons into places of repression and abuse instead of rehabilitation and reform, the Al-Shehab Human Rights Center documents in this report the grave violations faced by detainees inside Badr 3 Prison, one of the most mysterious and worst prisons in Egypt.

The report records live testimonies and distress messages from inside the prison, revealing tragic conditions of long-term solitary confinement, deprivation of visitation and healthcare, systematic starvation, and psychological and physical assaults, which in many cases have escalated to suicide attempts and violations that led to death.

This report serves as an accurate documentation of the violation of the right to life, the right to dignity, the right to a fair trial, and other fundamental rights guaranteed by local laws and international treaties.
