Al-Shehab Human Rights Center monitors the continued disappearance of citizen Abdullah Salama Salim Al-Ahmar, a resident of Wadi Al-Amr village in North Sinai Governorate, since 2015, without any disclosure of his whereabouts or fate to date.

According to information received by the Center, news of Abdullah has been cut off since 2015, and no information has been available about his whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, amid his continued absence for nearly 11 years. This has been accompanied by growing fears for his life and safety, as well as the human suffering experienced by his family as a result of the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his fate.

Al-Shehab Human Rights Center expresses its profound concern regarding the continued disappearance of Abdullah Salama Salim Al-Ahmar over these years, stressing that the continued unknown status of citizens’ fate for this long necessitates a serious investigation to uncover the circumstances of their disappearance and to guarantee their families’ right to know the truth.

The Center calls on the Public Prosecutor and the relevant authorities to conduct a serious investigation into the circumstances of his disappearance, to promptly disclose his whereabouts and fate, and to take all necessary measures to ensure his safety, enabling his family to be reassured and to end their ongoing suffering for years.
