✍️ The detainee Dr. Mustafa Al-Ghanimi – 70 years old – announces his continuation in the battle of the empty stomachs until death or the achievement of legitimate humanitarian demands.
🔴 Al-Ghanimi says in his message:
"I underwent open-heart surgery and several other operations. The efficiency of my heart muscle has decreased from 67% to 50% due to the hunger strike. I have not seen the sun or my family for more than 10 years.
I have been unjustly detained for 13 years without a crime, except that I defended freedom and Egypt.
I apologize to my family, my children, and my loved ones, for I may die before I meet them. If the meeting in this world is difficult, our appointment is with God, who does not let rights go to waste."
⚠️ Al-Shehab Center holds the Egyptian authorities fully responsible for the life of Dr. Al-Ghanimi, and reiterates its demands for:
The immediate release of him and all sick and elderly detainees
An urgent investigation into the violations within Sector 2
The cessation of isolation, starvation, and systematic abuse policies
