Death Tragedy Denies the Final Farewell to the Family of Lawyer Samir Shabana

🔴 Human tragedy.. Lawyer “Samir Shabana” has passed away, and his three sons behind bars are being denied the chance to bid him farewell

Al-Shehab Human Rights Center mourns the passing of Advocate “Samir Badai Shabana,” who died on Saturday, 30 May 2026, and expresses its profound sorrow at the denial of his three sons—detained in different facilities—their right to attend his funeral procession:

Engineer/ Abdullah Samir Badai (detained at Dairb Nigm Police Station)

Advocate/ Ahmed Samir Badai (detained at Dairb Nigm Police Station)

Advocate/ Omar Samir Badai (detained at Damanhour Al-Abadiah Prison)

⚖️ Our demands:

Al-Shehab Center calls on the Prison Service and the relevant authorities to allow the three sons to leave temporarily without delay in order to attend the burial ceremonies and offer condolences, taking into account humanitarian considerations; the final farewell is an inherent right that may not be restricted.
