Al-Shehab Human Rights Center monitors the continued disappearance of citizen Rami Fayez Muhammad Muslim, a resident of Sheikh Zuweid City in North Sinai Governorate, for nearly 9 years, with no disclosure to date of his whereabouts or fate.

According to information received by the Center, news of Rami has been absent for years, and no information has been available regarding his whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, amid fears for his life and safety, and the human and psychological suffering experienced by his family as a result of the ongoing mystery surrounding his fate.

Al-Shehab Human Rights Center expresses its deep concern about Rami Fayez Muhammad Muslim’s continued disappearance throughout these years, stressing that the continued unknown status of his fate and the denial of his family’s right to know his whereabouts require urgent intervention by the competent authorities to uncover the circumstances of his disappearance.

The Center calls on the Public Prosecutor and the relevant authorities to immediately reveal his whereabouts and fate, conduct a serious and independent investigation into the circumstances of his disappearance, ensure his physical and psychological safety, enable his family to feel reassured about him, and release him immediately if it is established that he has been detained without any legal basis.
